Intermediate Sewing Fashion Camp (ages 8-16)
Full Day Camp 9:30-3:30
For the campers that have a basic knowledge of sewing and can thread and run the machine properly. We work all week on a designer patchwork A-line skirt with a contrast yoke. This project really helps with sewing machine time and manuevering skills.
The girls start by designing the color palette of the skirt so each one is truly unique. For campers that have taken this camp before we have a bit more advance skirt, the illusion overlay circle skirt. A very pretty skirt with an interfaced yoke and a zipper, yikes..:)
The girls choose their own color combos creating a one of a kind designer skirt.
Campers at level 4 create a cute summer dress, we have a few choices available depending on their skill level.
In the afternoon we learn even more about the fashion design world like fabric design, vintage designs and clothing history, accessories and work on getting even better with sketching techniques. Busy week at FFD!

If you are a camper from last year and want to continue on to intermediate this summer but the dates do not work for you we can add you into a beginning camp depending on availabilty and have you work on our intermediate project.
Just let us know what date works for you and we can see what works.
spaces fill up quickly, deposits/payments are refundable in credit only.
If you are not sure of date and camp please do the deposit instead of full pay.
If you need to change a date, that is no problem as long as there is space in camp you want.

End of Summer Fashion Club Days

10 - 4pm (half day available 1-4pm)
Our end of the summer fashion fun! If you're staying in town and want to have some fun fashion and sewing days come sew and sketch with us!
5 days of Fashion Design and Sewing! We have projects for you no matter what skill level you are at, if you haven't learned to sew yet we will introduce you to the sewing machine, not complete lessons but get you started.
We will be sketching with fashion templates, learning sketching techniques, creating fashion mood boards and learning about inspiration.
After our lunch break at pie in the sky we will break out into sewing fun! Making fashion accessories like scarves, totebags, purse's, belts, bows, headbands, hats.... and also have the freedom to make anything you'd like pillows, stuffed animals, kooky monsters and anything you can think of and try. For our more experienced sewers, you can make critter hats or the 2 color panel skirt. Also, we have mannequin's to drape and create on.
Come with your ideas and we'll help you create it.
